Course Requirements and Grades
There will be weekly problem sets,
examinations in class on Friday, February 11 and Friday, March 25, and a
final examination on Thursday, May 5, 12:00-2:00 pm. 20% of the final grade will
be based on the problem sets, 40% on the exams in class, and 40% on the
final exam.
Problem sets will generally be assigned on Friday and will be due by 11:00 am
the subsequent Friday. Students should submit their problem sets at the end of
class on Friday or place them in the Teaching Interns' mailbox in Cohen 433
before the deadline of 11:00 am. Late problem sets will be
accepted, with a fifteen point penalty, until 9:45 am on the following Monday.
