WICS High School Day for Girls

Each year, the CIS Department and WICS host a day for girls in high school who are interested in computer science. This event will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017. At this event, students will have the opportunity to meet computer scientists and engieers and learn what professionals in these fields do. Throughout the day the students will meet faculty and undergraduate women, have an admissions presentation, tour world-class labs, take a class, enjoy lunch with our school community and have fun! To learn more about this event, you can download previous year's information:

If you have questions, please contact Rita Powell. WICS  High School Day for Girls was made possible by a Microsoft Research seed grant through the National Center for Women & IT (NCWIT).
