ROCI is a software platform that enables users to organize and control an easily reconfigurable sensing and processing network. The ROCI system encompasses a model for application development that emphasizes configuration independent design as well as the plumbing needed to connect those applications.
ROCI is being developed at the GRASP Lab of the University of Pennsylvania and is actively being used in a number projects, including MARS (Multiple Autonomous Robots), the SmartChair project and an air-ground coordination system for robot control.
Download the latest release of ROCI at sourceforge.net. The package includes the source code and binaries for the ROCI kernel as well as several example ROCI modules and pins referenced in the manual. Binaries for the ROCI Browser are also included (source code to be released soon).
