CIS 110 Exams

Regrade request form This page includes information on the mid-term and final exams, as well as exams and solutions from previous semesters. Keep in mind that the selection and order of topics varies some from semester to semester, so old exams may include questions that are not relevant to this semester, and they may not cover all topics.

Mid-term
  • Date: Friday, 5 October
  • Time: Normal Class Time
  • Place: Meyerson B1
  • Grading scale: The median on this exam was 28/50, with a standard deviation of 7.11. This is in line with Dr. Brown's predictions. The approximate letter grade ranges are as follows:
    • A: >= 30
    • B: 22 - 29.5
    • C: 15 - 21.5
    • D: < 15
  • You may pick up your exam from Laura Fox in Levine 308. Laura is in most days from 9:00 - 4:00.
  • Review your exam for grading errors, including clerical errors copying scores from inside pages to the front of the exam, and entering them into the online system. If you believe there is a grading error, fill out a Regrade request form, and give it along with your exam to one of your TAs. The deadline to submit a regrade request is your recitation on October 17/18.

  • You may pick up your exam from Laura Fox in Levine 308 once classes resume in January. Laura is in most days from 9:00 - 4:00.

If you believe there is a grading error, fill out a Regrade request form, and leave it, along with your exam, in Dr. Brown's mailbox in Levine 302.
