Philly Steak Houses
There are a number of excellent Steak houses in Philadelhphia. I cook my
own steaks, so have never made a complete comparison,
and people seem to disagree on which ones are best. However, they are ordered
by the consensus of the reivews I have received.

- Barclay Prime
(237 S. 18th St., 215-732-7560)
Stephen Starr does steak. very nicely. I don't like web pages that take
forever to load, but fortunately the service at the restaurant is much faster.
- The Prime Rib
The Warwick Hotel, 1701 Locust St., 215-772-1701
Jacket and tie required for men, so I can't go there. :( Otherwise it
would probably be first on the list.
- Morton's (of
Chicago) The Steakhousee
(1411 Walnut St. 215-557-0724)
jacket and tie requied for men. and number three on my list of two.
- Shula's steakhouse.
7th and Race Sts.s 448-2700
- Smith & Wollensky
210 W. Rittenhouse
gets less good reviews than some of the others
- Ruth's Chris Steakhouse
