TraumAID is a
program developed over the past twelve years to assist physicians with
the diagnosis and treatment of penetrating trauma (gunshot and stab
wounds) to the chest and abdomen. The project has subsequently
expanded to encompass other emergency medicine related endeavors.
TraumAID is a cooperative effort between the Computer and Information Science Department of the University of Pennsylvania, and Allegheny University of the Health Sciences (formerly the Medical College of Pennsylvania and Hahnemann University).
