Notes: An approved Course Planning Guide (CPG) should be submitted to the Associate Dean (111 Towne Building) preferably by the end of the freshman year, but no later than the end of sophomore year. The CPG for the B.A.S. degree must be approved and signed by the Academic Advisor and the Undergraduate Curriculum Chair. This B.A.S. course plan can be amended at any time by submitting a revised CPG or a letter which is approved in the same manner.

* Two of the remaining Engineering courses should be drawn from:

CSE 262, 270, 280, 330, 333, 334, 391
The project (CSE499) must be a problem in Computational Biology.
** Concentration - any two courses from the following:

Chem 102 or Physics 150 or Chem 241;
Biol 202;
Biol 215 or Biol 251;
Biol 230 or Biol 231 or Biol 240;
Biol 254 or Biol 255.

The remaining courses should be drawn from:

Any 200 level Biol course not taken in the previous group;
Any CSE course in the specified remaining (E) list;
Bio 302, 410, 411, 412, 414, 421, 425, 480.

*** Social Science & Humanities - Please indicate the category of requirement each course fulfills: list next to "SS" a Social Science course, next to "H" a Humanities course, and next to "L" a modern language course. Note that the language requirement is two consecutive semester of a modern language.

The Course Planning Guides are best viewed with the latest version of Netscape; the table format used to display the CPG may not show up well with other browsers.
