Peter - thanks for the update.

You might be interested to learn that I was cold-called in Arnisdale over
the Christmas break by a BT salesman from India.  He wanted me to subscribe
to a broadband offer "as broadband is now available on your line".  As you
can imagine, I questioned his assurances but he was adamant that
improvements to my local exchange meant that broadband is now available to
everyone in my community.  And he assured me that he was a BT employee,
rather than an employee of a third party call-centre or other service
provider.

Sort of adds insult to injury doesn't it!

Regards

Mark

BT have taken an order from MHS for broadband, assuring us that we can make a broadband connection in Arnisdale.  I received the welcome pack with router, installation disc etc before Christmas and set about trying to establishing a connection, as expected there is no broadband detected, BT are now investigating and will get back to MHS next week
