I am on the job market this year. Here are my Curricum Vitae and Research Statement (last updated Feb 24, 2012).
Short Bio
I am a sixth year Ph.D. candidate in the Computer and Information Science department at the University of Pennsylvania. I am co-advised by Zack Ives and Boon Thau Loo. I am also proud to be a member of the great DBGroup at Penn.
My research interest is Data Management. Recently, I have worked on query processing and optimization for novel applications like data streams, sensor networks, and cloud computing.
Before entering graduate school at Penn, I obtained my B.S. in Computer Science from Fudan University, Shanghai, China. Shanghai is my hometown and I miss everything there. Apart from Ph.D. study, I enjoy playing piano, running and biking. Here is my husband's homepage.
I spent the summer of 2010 and 2011 doing internships at Micrososft Bing and IBM Research Almaden respectively.
