I avoid making appointments whenever possible. If my office door is open, I'm almost always willing to talk. I'm usually here from 10:00 to 5:30.

CIT591 is one of the core courses in the MCIT (Masters of Computer and Information Technology) program. Due to a surge in the demand for an introductory programming course at the Masters level, and the limited amount of lab space, in 2008 the Computer Science department created a clone of CIT591, numbered CIT590, to be taught each Spring semester. This was done in consultation with other affected program chairs, all of whom agreed that this would be a satisfactory arrangement. CIT590 was taught for the first time in 2009. The current status is that enrollment in CIT591 is limited to students majoring in MCIT. Students in other majors are expected to take CIT590, or to seek other alternatives. |
