Here is the major Tomcat site; as far as I know, any version of Tomcat should be sufficient for our purposes. I think the best site for Tomcat installation is Configuring & Using Apache Tomcat, but there are many other sites if this one doesn't work for you. |

which has no print or println methods to
output a String; it only has write methods to output
bytes. So your DOM Printer cannot use print
or println. But note that the String
class has a getBytes method. |

| October 21, 2003 | Fire Drill: As many of you know, we have a planned fire drill in Towne at 10:30 Wednesday, October 22--right at the start of our class. It will probably be over in about 15 minutes. I recommend that we just start class as usual and act as though we didn't know about it (but I won't start the quiz until it's over!) Be sure to take valuables with you when you exit. |
