Interests: Computer vision and graphics, Decision making under uncertainty, Experimental algorithmics, and Applied statistics.

I have MS degree in Mathematics from St. Kliment Ochridski University in Sofia, Bulgaria. At Penn, I completed my PhD degree in Computer Science with Dr. Max Mintz, lectured, and later did a postdoc with Dr. Ruzena Bajscy. GRASP was an amazing place: a top research lab, intellectually stimulating, multi-national environment, real friends! After a one-year visiting position at Washington University in St. Louis, I accepted a position at Hofstra University. Currently I am an Associate Professor and Chair of The Department of Computer Science.
