Conference, Workshop and Hotel registration
The conference and workshop will be held in Ramat-Rachel Hotel, a hotel managed by
Ramat-Rachel Kibbutz, in Jerusalem.
To register to the conference and workshop, and to reserve a hotel room,
please fill out the conference registration and hotel reservation
forms. These are available in ps
and doc (at bottom of this page).

Registration to the conference, for ALL
participants,
includes: participation in all
sessions, three lunches, coffee breaks, the proceedings, a
get-togther reception,
conference tour, and the banquet. Registration to the workshop
includes the sessions, coffee breaks, and lunch.
Members: of the ACM/IEEE.
Students: Must attach some proof of studies, see forms.
Cancellation policy:
Before Dec. 10, 1998: Full refund, less $75 handling fees.
After Dec. 10, 1998, until Jan. 4, 1999: Refund, less $150
From Jan. 5, 1999: No Refund.
Additional tickets for the banquet and/or the tour will be available
at the conference.
Dan Knassim can also arrange on request pre/post conference tours in
Israel.
Hotel reservations
The hotel has rooms for single and double occupancy. Room rates
include Israeli breakfast and service charges. For those that stay
after the conference and workshop, the rates will include also
one additional meal (lunch or dinner). The rates are US$105 for a
single room and $US120 for a double room.
Transportation from Airport
Following are directions as to how to get from Ben-Gurion Airport to Kibbutz Ramat
Rachel, Jerusalem:
Exit the arrivals hall by the right door.
Just outside of the arrivals terminal, in front of you, or to the
left, you will see a group of taxi drivers.
Ask one of the drivers you see which one of them is going to Jerusalem.
Each city is served by a different company;
the company that goes to Jerusalem is called NESHER.
Tell the driver that you want to go to the Kibbutz Ramat Rachel Hotel.
Important: The taxi carries 7 passengers, and drops each of them at
his/her destination. The taxi leaves the airport when it fills up.
The cost of this service (called ``sherut'') (one-way) is approx. $10 U.S.
There also is a possibility to take an ordinary taxi on your own,
which costs about
$40 U.S. (useful if there are several people traveling together)
In both cases make sure at the beginning of the trip what the price is.
The Organizing company also arranges for a special pick-up service. See
