One easy way to find the head and specific deformations of the
face is to put markers on several key points on the face and then to
track them[108][151][99].
There are 2 classes of markers:
- passive markers (colored dots) which are not self-identifying
but require calculation of relative position.
- active coded targets (temporal or color coding of targets) which can
be easily identified.
