    Hi, all. For those of you who have already finished HW7 and you want
    to get a head start on HW8, I've posted it on the course web page.

    It will be due on Wed 23 Nov (the day before Thanksgiving). Given
    that this assignment only requires around 70 lines of C code, you
    should be able to finish it early (by, say, next Monday), so it won't
    interfere with break.
