Course Description

Software-defined data centers (SDDCs) refer to a data center where all infrastructure is virtualized and delivered as a service. This seminar explores the building blocks behind SDDCs, in particular, recent innovations in Software-defined Networking (SDN). The focus will be on SDN platforms, programming languages, verification tools, and discussion of industry trends. Students can work on an optional programming assignment and explore research topics with the instructor.

This class is open to graduate students and advanced undergraduates who have taken a computer networks class.
