The talks in the Graphics Seminar can be of various types:

·        A presentation of a paper or set of papers from recent conferences that is relevant to your research.

·        A talk about a research project in progress, starting with the prior work and ending with current results and plans of what to do next.

·        A dry run for an accepted conference paper.

·        A talk about a project that's still just an idea, covering the background and outlining a tentative plan of attack.

·        An area overview talk (state of the art in a particular area) that would be of interest to people.
