Here are the CPT guidelines for Summer 2008:
CIS/MSE students using CPT register for CIS 899/Independent Study, under the supervision of Dr. Rajeev Alur, which will be counted as an elective towards the ten credits needed for the degree. Bring theSEAS Application for CPT & OIP CPT Form to Mike Felker for approval. The grade for the Independent Study will be S(atisfactory) or U(nsatisfactory) and will be based on a detailed report submitted at the conclusion of the CPT; the material in this report should cover the material outlined in the proposal submitted with the SEAS Application for CPT. The report is submitted to Mike Felker.
MCIT students using CPT register for CIS 899/Independent Study, under the supervision of Dr. Dave Matuszek, which will be counted as an elective towards the ten credits needed for the degree. Bring the SEAS Application for CPT & OIP CPT Form to Dr. Matuszek for approval. The grade will be S(atisfactory) or U(nsatisfactory) and will be based on a detailed report submitted to Dr. Matuszek at the conclusion of the CPT; the material in this report should cover the material outlined in the proposal submitted with the SEAS Application for CPT.
CGGT students using CPT register for CIS 899/Independent Study, under the supervision of Dr. Steve Lane, which will be counted as an elective towards the ten credits needed for the degree. Bring the SEAS Application for CPT & OIP CPT Form to Dr. Lane for approval. The evaluation process and grading will be determined by Dr. Lane.
Robotics/MSE students using CPT register for CIS 899/Independent Study, under the supervision of Dr. Kostas Daniilidis, which will be counted as an elective towards the ten credits needed for the degree. Bring theSEAS Application for CPT & OIP CPT Form to Mike Felker for approval. The grade for the Independent Study will be S(atisfactory) or U(nsatisfactory) and will be based on a detailed report submitted at the conclusion of the CPT; the material in this report should cover the material outlined in the proposal submitted with the SEAS Application for CPT. The report is submitted to Mike Felker.
CIS doctoral students using CPT register for EAS 898/CPT Practicum under the supervision of their advisor, who will determine the evaluation process and grading, and who will approve the SEAS Application for CPT & OIP CPT Form.
All students using CPT should bring the SEAS Application for CPT & OIP CPT Form to Mike so he can register you.
