Tuition Tuition contributes to the funding of faculty, staff, course offerings, libraries, facility upkeep etc.
General fee The general fee is a partial contribution towards the support of Career Services, Graduate Student Activities, recreational activities, the physical development of the University, and other services not directly associated with specific course
Technology fee The technology fee helps to underwrite the various computer resources for the School of Engineering including computer labs, provided software, web-based email, and other related costs
Health insurance & clinical fee

Students must have health insurance, either their own coverage or through the University of Pennsylvania; information can be found at www.vpul.upenn.edu/shs/insurance.php 

Students are charged a clinical fee of  about $226 for use of the UPenn Student Health Services - www.vpul.upenn.edu/shs/ Students who choose to participate in the UPenn health insurance coverage will see a reversal of the clinical fee on their student account.

Three courses is full-time enrollment for master's students in the fall & spring semesters.

All CIS master's programs require completion of ten courses.
