Innovative New Master's Degree Program in Embedded Systems

The newly emerging discipline of embedded systems lies at the intersection of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering. The Master's of Science in Engineering in Embedded Systems (ESM)

is an innovative and unique degree program, which trains students in the fundamentals of embedded systems and implementation.

CIS Graduate Student Wins Teaching Award

CIS graduate student Andrew Hilton was awarded the 2008-09 Center for Teaching  and Learning’s Graduate Fellowship for Teaching Excellence.

CIS Alum Wins SIGPLAN Dissertation Award

CIS doctoral program graduate Swarat  Chaudhuri received the 2008 SIGPLAN Dissertation Award for his thesis Logics and Algorithms for Software Analysis, advisor: Dr. Rajeev Alur.

Rubinoff Award Winner
